Last month, wedding dress designers flocked to New York to show off their Spring/Summer 2014 bridal collections at New York’s Bridal Week. Among the designers were Vera Wang, Monique Lhuillier, and Marchesa. What they brought were bold, trendy new styles with every bride in mind. Bold, backless dresses and short skirts were among the most shocking, yet gorgeous designs. Peplum wedding dresses are also making a comeback this season. Capes and wraps are the new compliment to any wedding gown and, this season, are being shown short and long. Now more than ever, brides can show off their own personal style. 2013/2014 has shown that designers are not afraid to take risks with wedding dress design and every bride could be as daring or classic as they wish.
